Gnome Suite in Black Pearl Cottage is one of two private inner-connecting suites within the cottage.
You enter through an arched wooden door into a dramatic grand room with crashing surf views
of the entire Monterey Bay. This grand room is both living room, dining and kitchen.
This unique setting overlooks a rare five star rated sandy beach known as
Seabright Beach. A magnificent 'river stone' fireplace creates
even more ambiance for romantic evenings by firelight.
The location is one of the finest for sailboat
regattas on the bay, in addition to being
an awesome Winter storm watch.
The rich jewel tones
lend a luxurious warmth to the
room. And noted original art and unique crafts
collected from Bev's trips to North Africa, Europe, Asia,
Mexico, Central America and Bali create a special magic. It is truely
a place one feels instantly at home in. A separate bedroom with king bed, designer
linen, luxurious down comforter, and of course a private tiled bath with tub, shower & skylight.
Gnome Suite can be rented separately. However, should you wish to bring guests you will
need to arrange for the adjoining Suite called Neptune Suite. It is suitable for four persons maximum.
2 bedrms, 1 bath, deep Japanese hot tub off private patio. It is the perfect
arrangement for your guests, since you can close the door between
the suites for complete privacy. This suite has a oceanview
bedroom/sitting room with a king bed; a guest bedroom
with queen bed and shared bath.

Both suites have vcr/tv; beach towels/chairs; personal robes, hairdryers;
(firewood Gnome Suite). Note: we do not provide radios/tape players
since we strive to create a quiet environment where the sound
of crashing surf is your mantra, a place for refuge from
the ordinary world. So guests leave revived and
refreshed from their encounter with the
'great Pacific Ocean'.
