GNOME SUITE
in Black Pearl Cottage. It is one of two private inner-connecting suites within the cottage.
You enter the Gnome Suite in Black Pearl Cottage through an arched wooden door into a dramatic
grand room, which is both a livingroom/dining/kitchen combination with a breathtaking
view of the entire Monterey Bay, and crashing surf views of a rare five star
rated sandy beach below. This spectacular room has a magnificent
'river stone' fireplace for romantic evenings by
firelight. It is also considered to be
the very finest regatta watch
for the many world class
sailboat races. And
an awesome Winter storm
watch. Rich jewel tone furnishings
lend a luxurious warmth to the room. Original
art & crafts collected from Bev's trips to north Africa,
Europe, Asia, Mexico and Central America create a special magic. It
is truely a place one feels instantly at home in. A small cozy bedroom with
designer linen and luxurious down comforters. A private tiled bath with tub and shower.
This one bedroom, one bath suite is suitable for two persons maximum, and only one auto permitted.

A hall door leads to the rest of the cottage and is locked unless you are bringing
guests and need more room. These adjoining rooms in the cottage are the Neptune Suite.
If you want to bring guests you will need the entire cottage, Gnome and Neptune Suites.

'NEPTUNE SUITE'

Suitable for four persons maximum. 2 bedrms, 1 bath, deep Japanese hot tub off private patio.
It is the back section of Black Pearl Cottage, separated only by a hall doorway from Gnome Suite
(the front section of cottage). It is the perfect arrangement for your guests, since you can
close the door between the suites at night for.complete privacy. This area has two
bedrooms and one bath (shower only). No kitchen, dining or living room. It
has a deep Japanese hot tub on private patio. The master bedroom with
king bed has an ocean view. The small guest bedroom with queen
bed is next to the hot tub patio. There is a private
back entrance to this section of the cottage.
Note: We do not rent this suite (section of cottage) separately. You must rent both
Gnome & Neptune Suites (the entire cottage) to occupy this section of the cottage.
RENTAL OF ENTIRE COTTAGE
(both suites, maximum six persons)
Combined are three bedrooms and two baths total
for a maximum of six persons (this is rental of the entire cottage.)
one bedrm, one bath in Gnome suite and two bedrms, one bath in Neptune Suite.
Note: Two autos only when both suites are rented. And they must be parked in driveway at all times.

Also Note: Neptune Suite can not be rented separately, only Gnome Suite is rentable separately.
And we do not rent Neptune Suite when Gnome suite is rented. We do on occasion
make it available to one or two of our family members and they use
the back entrance. You would not share anything with them.
Both suites are quiet and completely private when
the hall door is shut and locked.
Both suites have vcr/tv; beach towels/chairs; personal robes, hairdryers;
(firewood Gnome Suite). Note: we do not provide radios/tape players
since we strive to create a quiet environment where the sound
of crashing surf is your mantra, a place for refuge from
the ordinary world. So guests leave revived and
refreshed from their encounter with the
'great Pacific Ocean'.
Well behaved children are most
welcome in the Cottage!
